(I can't find the option to change the message icon ANYWHERE but I figured it would be okay since I have what it is as the subject XD)
Sorry this is kind of long, just a lot of things are unclear to me.
? - Are only instructors allowed to post tutorials in the Classes boards, or can regular members do it too?
? - The Skinning section is confusing to me. It says you can order a skin for your site there but the word "skin" kind of implies forums. Is Skinning only for ordering a skin for a forum-based site or can you also order a site layout?
? - The Freebies board is a bit confusing to me. It says to post "unwanted images" in there -- I assume that means an image that somebody requested but didn't like -- but only unwanted images? Most Freebies boards I have seen on other studios are freebies in all circumstances, for instance if an artist created an image out of pure fun and decided to post it as a freebie in case someone might want to use it.
?! - Are only artists allowed to post freebies in the Free Stuff board? If they are, I suggest that members should be allowed to as well. Artists who are not accepted and can't take orders can still have a creative outlet here by posting their work for use if people like it, and you might keep more members.
! - I noticed that the tutorials option is not for Skinning, but only for Coding and Graphics. I dunno if that was purposeful. I'm not a skinner but I would think there would be some tutorial-able aspects to it :3
! - Just to pretty much sum all of this together, a separate Tutorials sub-board for each section instead of having tutorials and classes posted in the same board, just to make things more convenient possibly?
! - Regarding the Freebies board; it's in a bit of a weird place. A sub-board under Galleries. I was looking for that board and it took me a really long time to find it XD the Galleries board is described as a place to showcase "work," so work in general -- otherwise I'd assume the Galleries board would be under the Graphics section. Yet the Freebies board is for posting "unwanted images," so it's only a freebie board for Graphics? I think it would make more sense to put the Freebies board under the Graphics section in that case. And for convenience reasons I think it should be a board if its own and not a sub-board.
! - A Resources board. This could be combined with the Tutorials or Freebies board or just created as a separate board. Here people could post their favorite stock artists/sites, links to handy brushes, textures, actions, etc. It could be very useful.
! - There's a Help board in the Coding section, but not for Skinning and Graphics. I like that idea of a Help board, but I think people would like having a Help board in those areas too when they run into issues. I'm sure a lot of people might be running into trouble sometimes, particularly in Graphics.
! - The advertisement codes for this site in the Advertisements board are only in BBcode/UBBcode. I would suggest having it in HTML form as well, so people can advertise your site on HTML-based sites such as Boards2Go. It's just as popular as Proboards/Invisionfree -- many very popular RPGs are on Boards2Go. Very beneficial to you if you have an HTML code for your advertisement <3
?! - I'm not sure how the Money system works, but I have an idea sort of -- that it updates automatically with each post you do, but for everything else (orders filled, sites advertised on), you have to manually put it in. If I'm right, you guys seem to have to do a lot of work to update everybody's total. I suggest that instead of you having to keep up all the time, that if members want to earn money they should each have their own Update thread in the Shop, and update it themselves periodically with sites they've advertised on or orders they filled and whatnot so you can see it all in one place. I think that would be a lot more convenient for you than trying to keep up with everyone.
! - I think you should have more things to buy in the Shop. I mean if you're not from another site the only thing you can do is change how your username looks and I don't think that's much motivation to be active/fill orders (a nice little side effect of the money system I suspect). I can't really think of any particular prizes, though -- maybe a feature on deviantArt. Or an avatar, or a signature, or a set from the artist of your choice for a larger sum. Or a manip for an even larger sum. That might be a pain in the arse for you guys but it would be quite motivating, I imagine Would also motivate more people to enter contests, since the money prize would be able to be used for more.
