Aww thanks Kelpie! <3 I'm only hard on myself, because if I'm not, I'll never improve. It's fine, no harm done in intruding. , Unless you forget to knock when entering a bathroom. (>3)

It looks fine, Kala. Really - manes and tails are something just about everybody struggles with. I still spend roughly half my time on them, and mine are nowhere near good enough. I sketched over your image real quick. Red lines are were I drew with a black, 13px hard round brush (using tablet). Blue lines are white in color. These were both done on different layers, with blend modes set to soft light. Then I just used the smudge tool (13px, normal, 30%), following the hair, to smooth the lines a bit. I grabbed the eraser (13 px, soft round (0% hardness) 30% opacity) and erased a bit where I thought it looked too dark. Very simple overall, but adds shapes. a.imageshack.us/img717/6225/linesh.jpgHow it looked: a.imageshack.us/img651/2821/aftergl.jpg=D I think the tail looks great. Maybe just try adding the shadows and highlights and we'll be set to go. -- Next is a little tougher, actually. XD Create a new layer *above* the horse layer and set the clipping mask. Click your horse layer and create two new layers, both of which should automatically have a clipping mask set to them since you have the one above. On the -first- layer, use a 3px hard round brush to paint some strokes where the sun would hit the horse (pick a light color from the sun glare to paint with). Try to highlight the muscles, make him preeettyy. Once done, set the blend mode to soft light and use the smudge tool (21px, soft round, normal, 30%) to smooth out the lines. On the -second- layer, do exactly the same, but with a color picked from one of the shadows in the background.

Riddle,
I am completely sorry about this!
Life has just been SOOO busy for me with college and all, and it sucks.
Can we pick this up again? My last assignment was deleted through my absence somehow, so I'm sort of sad about that and the long absence won't happen again. </3

LoL - not a problem. Been busy myself with family up this week and college starting. If you want, just go ahead and do the highlight/shading on another horse... you can decide if you want to cut it out or not.
